The Trick Circle is a unique fitness and wellbeing class that uses a combination of hula hoop tricks, yoga and dance flows to help balance your mind and body.

What you will experience

A full body workout that is dynamic and calorie burning, yoga inspired stretches and hula hoop tricks that help to open up your body to flexibility and improve balance. Restorative breathing to help detoxify the body and reset the mind.


How the hoop is used

The adult size hula hoop is used both held in the hands as a balance, resistance, and strength building tool, as well as, on the body as a calorie-blasting, low to medium impact fitness practice that tones and massages the core.

What You Need For Practice


Bring along to class your beginners hula hoop and two lightweight hula hoops. Hoops can be provided. come dressed in comfortable clothing and bring water along with you.

What happens in a Hula hoop class?


In a hula hoop class you will learn the basics such as hooping on your waist (which is an excellent exercise to cinch in the waist!) and hooping on your arms! You will also learn some new and wonderful impressive tricks too as well as how to put them into a dance sequence so you can workout with a big smile on your face learn something new and feel like a superstar.

But I cant Hula hoop, Its difficult!


Don't stress it is a little challenging to begin with but I'm here to break down the steps and help you! You can do it I believe in you! There is also plenty other moves that we can do its not on the waist.

Is hula hooping a full body work out!

Yes! Absolutely!

Do I need a hula hoop?

I provide hoops for all my classes, there are many different sizes to choose from and try out. If you have your own hoop that's great take it along!

Can I buy a hoop to practice at home?

Yes absolutely you can try out and order hoops from class,

there are a lot of different options to choose from!

Hula Hoop Fitness

You will learn the basics of hula hooping along with some tricks that will help to burn calories and increase balance, flexibility and your confidence. This class also features some breathwork, affirmations and yoga poses.

Hula Hoop Dance

This is a fun class aimed at improving your dance flow and learn new tricks. As you learn and improve your dance you will begin to reconnect with your inner child and the feminine energy within you.


Chakra yoga

The primary focus is on the movement and transformation of energy. Chakra yoga uses the hoop as a prop to help release energy blocks with in the body. During this class there will be a focus on deep breathing, sound healing and affirmations.

Meet the instructor

Hello I'm Shannon Fox the owner of The Trick Circle.

I discovered hula hoop during the first covid lockdown. I practiced almost everyday and discovered that the hoop has more uses than just being a children's toy. It is a rhythm teacher, a tool that I can use to bring awareness into my body, something that I can use to quiet my mind and give me focus.


I want to help others on their personal journey to self discovery, healing and improvement.

As you join the circle we step back in to our power, the light and the dark, the wisdom and the magic.



A place to gather and share experiences.

Healing through ritual and guided meditation to connect women to other women with the intention of making women feel seen, safe, heard, held and witnessed on their journeys through life.

Women's Circle

Who is it for?

All women at any stage of life, this also extends to trans women.

What to expect

A women's circle (Goddess circle) is a safe space for women to have deep conversations and find belonging healing and to feel less alone in the world with their struggles.


We will use smudge sticks, crystals, flower circles, breathwork & meditation, oracle cards and the use of ritual to help open up and find meaning and healing.


There will be refreshments: CBD drinks & gummies, Vegan / Vegetarian friendly snacks,

Herbal tea's, The usual tea's and coffees.


All held within in a beautiful environment, sometimes circles may be planned outdoors.

What to bring

Anything to make you warm & comfortable. In some sessions we will have some movement, therefore, non restrictive clothing is good.

Blanket, pillow, mat, eye mask, are some suggestions.

An hoodie, thick socks, favourite jumper…anything you wish!
